Galleria Medical Pharmacy is looking for a dependable, organized, and friendly Pharmacy Shipping & Patient Services Lead to join our team. This position will primarily work behind the scenes supporting our prescription shipping operations, while also helping oversee our front-end patient service team and stepping in to assist patients when needed. We're looking for someone who enjoys staying organized, works well in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable taking on a leadership role while still being an active part of the day-to-day team. What You'll Do Shipping & Prescription Processing Process patient payments and prepare completed prescriptions for shipment Carefully package prescriptions for safe and accurate delivery Verify patient shipping information and other required details before orders are sent Prepare shipping labels and organize outgoing packages Help coordinate daily prescription shipments and ensure orders go out on time Follow established procedures for refrigerated and temperature-sensitive medications Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient shipping workspace Identify and communicate shipping, payment, or patient information issues before orders are sent Patient Services Provide backup coverage at the pharmacy counter as needed Assist patients with prescription pickups and payments Provide friendly, professional customer service in person and over the phone Help answer general questions and direct medication-related questions to the pharmacist when appropriate Help ensure patients have a positive experience with our pharmacy Team Leadership Serve as a secondary lead for our front-end patient service team Help keep daily workflows organized and running smoothly Provide guidance and support to cashiers throughout the day Help ensure procedures are being followed consistently Communicate questions, concerns, or workflow issues to pharmacy management Step in where needed during busy periods and help the team stay on track What We're Looking For Excellent attention to detail Strong organizational and time-management skills Dependable and comfortable taking responsibility for daily tasks Friendly, patient, and professional when working with patients Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities Strong communication and problem-solving skills Comfortable providing direction and support to other team members Able to work independently while also being a team player Comfortable using computers and learning new software Previous pharmacy, healthcare, shipping, customer service, or leadership experience is a plus What Makes Someone Successful in This Role?
