Patient Intake (Adult) - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Optum 401(k) United States, Massachusetts, Auburn Aug 03, 2026 Worcester, MA | Reliant Medical Group Reliant Medical Group, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Patient Intake team in Worcester. This unique primary care role focuses on improving access for new patients, conducting initial evaluations, coordinating care, and helping patients transition to long-term primary care providers. Position Highlights patient intake and access-focused primary care role
Serve as the first clinical point of contact for Adult and Family Medicine patients
Evaluate acute and chronic conditions and initiate preventive care
Highly collaborative environment with physicians, APCs, nurses, and support staff
Expected volume of 14-18 patients per day
20-30 minute appointment lengths
Monday-Friday daytime schedule
No call, weekends, or holidays
Ideal for clinicians who enjoy care coordination, access improvement, and team-based care
Required Qualifications
Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Unlimited Licensure in the state of Massachusetts
Active DEA License
Min of 3 years experience as a APC e salary range for this role is $109,500 to $164,000 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
