Local Team Collaboration:
Join our close-knit group of 12 physicians and 10 advanced practice providers (APPs) at Brockton Hospital. We are fortunate to have a dedicated site coordinator assigned to this team who will help maintain a healthy work-life balance. Our clinical performance nurse will assist in delivering an exceptional patient care experience.
Qualifications:
Acute Care Board-certified nurse practitioner. Acute care experience is required. Pre-Admission Testing experience Preferred. Authorized to work in the United States.
Scheduling:
Full-time position follows a Monday through Friday schedule. Shifts for the position are scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate the patient's current health, manage anesthesia risks, and optimize their condition for safe surgery. Review the patient's medical history, conduct physical exams, and order necessary tests. Identify and manage medical conditions that may impact surgical outcomes and collaborate with specialists when needed. Communicate findings and recommendations to surgeons, the anesthesiology team, and primary care providers to coordinate care. We use Meditech and have access to our internal informatics platform.
