This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, stays composed in a fast-paced front desk setting, and brings a positive, detail-oriented presence to the workplace. The role follows a four-day schedule that includes Thursday through Sunday, so weekend availability is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests, employees, and vendors with a friendly and detail-oriented approach while ensuring the front desk remains orderly and inviting.
- Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, direct inquiries to the appropriate contacts, and take accurate messages when needed.
- Provide front-of-house support by assisting visitors with general questions, check-in procedures, and basic concierge-style service.
- Coordinate daily reception activities, including monitoring lobby traffic and maintaining smooth communication between the front desk and internal teams.
- Handle routine administrative support tasks such as documenting visitor information, updating logs, and helping keep records organized.
- Respond promptly to inbound phone inquiries and in-person requests while maintaining a calm, service-focused attitude during busy periods. Requirements
- Prior experience in a receptionist, front desk, customer service, or similar guest-facing position.
- Confident and personable communication style with the ability to create a positive first impression.
- Comfortable operating a multi-line phone or switchboard system and managing several calls at once.
- Availability to work a four-day schedule that includes Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance walk-in traffic, phone activity, and administrative duties.
- Dependable attendance and a detail-oriented demeanor in a public-facing environment.
