As a Patient Services Representative you are the first point of contact for our guests and this position requires a pleasant demeanor and willingness to help others. Our Patient Service Representative duties include administrative support such as scheduling and insurance verification. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office Patient check-in and check-out Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls Scheduling Insurance eligibility and verification Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email Maintaining schedule Collecting payment Skills Proven work experience in a customer service role Professional attitude and appearance Excellent communication skills Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise Excellent organizational skills Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
