Lexington Eye Associates is seeking a full-time Patient Service Specialist to join our growing team in Dedham, Massachusetts. - Welcome patients and manage the check-in and check-out process
- Collect co-payments and assist with contact lens ordering and dispensing
- Schedule appointments while optimizing provider schedules
- Obtain, manage, and troubleshoot referrals and insurance authorizations
- Maintain accurate patient demographic and financial information
- Communicate proactively with clinical and billing teams to support excellent patient care
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining efficiency, professionalism, and attention to detail What We're Looking For
- Previous healthcare experience required
- Experience using Epic EMR strongly preferred
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, collaborative, and committed to working as part of a team
