Medical Office Coordinator

Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Medical Office Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare practice. The ideal candidate will possess extensive medical office experience, strong leadership skills, and proficiency in managing administrative functions within a clinical setting. This role involves coordinating staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimizing office workflows to deliver outstanding patient care and operational efficiency. Duties
  • Screen calls, arrange appointments and referrals
  • Perform insurance verifications
  • Schedule and confirm appointments daily
  • Collect co-pays, deductibles and inquire on previous balances
  • Enter new patients into eClinical Works
  • Maintain patient charts
  • Organize medical records for appointment follow up
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Book new and follow-up appointments, manage cancellations, and coordinate specialist referrals or diagnostic testing
  • Greet patients, handle check-in/check-out processes, and manage multi-line phone systems or email correspondence
  • Maintaining a clean and organized office environment
Minimum Requirements:
  • Front office experience
  • Knowledge of EClinical Works a plus but not required.
  • Detailed oriented with excellent time management skills
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication
Pay:
$24.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
