We are looking for a friendly, professional, and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative (PSR) to join our healthcare team. If you enjoy helping people, providing excellent customer service, and working in a fast-paced medical office, we'd love to hear from you! What You'll Do Welcome patients and provide a positive, professional experience. Register patients and maintain accurate demographic and insurance information. Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments. Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, copays, and deductibles. Collect patient payments and provide receipts. Coordinate referrals and prior authorizations. Respond to patient phone calls, portal messages, and routine questions. Assist with check-in/check-out and maintain efficient patient flow. Accurately document information in the EMR/EHR. Protect patient privacy and comply with HIPAA and security requirements. Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to provide excellent patient service. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required. Medical office or customer-service experience preferred. EMR/EHR experience preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and remain professional in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of insurance, referrals, prior authorizations, and patient payments is a plus.
