Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive CVR/Title Registration Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing vehicle title processing, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of title procedures, research skills, and familiarity with relevant legal frameworks to facilitate smooth transactions and accurate record-keeping. Duties Process all new and used vehicle registrations Process all new and used vehicle titles efficiently, including issuing, transferring, and updating titles in accordance with state regulations Ensure all funds have been collected and correct lien holder has been listed Maintain accurate records of all title activities within the company's database system Collaborate with managers, dealerships, and legal entities to resolve title discrepancies or issues Verify document preparation for out of state registrations Process paperwork for swaps between dealerships File sales tax abatements Responsible for new and used inventory Other duties as assigned Requirements 1 or more years of CVR/title registration experience required Strong research skills with attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment High level of organization and accuracy in record keeping Ability to adapt to new software systems related to title processing and legal documentation Knowledgeable in out of state deals and out of state deal registration process Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) CDK experience a plus
