SCHEDULE
Part Time
  • 20 hrs M-F alternating shifts: 6:45am
  • 10:45am and 3
  • 7pm No weekends or Holidays
LOCATION
: Dwight Rd. Longmeadow
MA DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Multi-Disciplinary Outpatient Rehabilitation practice servicing Western MA for over 15 years. Gain Experience in the healthcare industry to include patient registration, scheduling, insurance authorization and billing. Collaborative work environment provides a positive patient and employee experience and is demonstrated through high patient satisfaction and employee engagement scores.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Baystate Health's Patient Service Representatives perform a variety of different tasks throughout the day. This includes greeting patients, check in and check out and requesting copays. Responsibilities also include verifying insurances, answering telephones and faxing medical documents.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
High School diploma or
GED Preferred:
Great interpersonal skills and able to work in a fast-paced environment a MUST. Medical terminology, keyboard, Microsoft office products, schedule systems, medical records (electronic and paper), billing, basic math, language, reading and writing, customer service. Experience in a medical office setting preferred.
