Escort patient to exam room for provider during clinic. Schedule appointments, ancillary testing and surgeryRequest prior authorizations for medical procedures/diagnostic exams and surgery. Refer medical questions to appropriate sources (Physician, Manager, or Director. Prepare end of day cash/copay reports. Submit billing to our billing vendor with appropriate supporting documentation.
Respond to billing companies requests for documentation or clarification of charges. Participate in special projects as identified by the Physician, Manager or DirectorMinimum RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalentProficiency with computers and medical terminology preferred

Essential FunctionsProvide medical and surgical office front desk support to Surgical practice. Pay Range:
$19.52 - $26.28The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
