- $22 an hour 21 hours ago Benefits Profit sharing Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching Flexible schedule Retirement plan Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Full time/Part time Community Internist Associates is looking for a motivated and driven Medical Scribe / Medical Office Coordinator to join our ranks and provide high-quality support and care to our patients.
What you would do:
- Provide quality patient care, with organizational skills that will perpetuate high standards of care for patients and families.
- Join hands with other staff and doctor with providing care that is appropriate for the patient's age.
- Supply aid in devising a plan of care for patients that takes into account patient problems, anticipated outcomes, and addresses preventative measures.
- Prepare for patient visits by familiarizing yourself with the patient's medical history.
- Take and record patient vitals reconcile problems and medication.
- Answer phone calls, respond to patient questions, and take messages Prepare rooms and ensure supplies are ready, ordering more when necessary File insurance forms and call insurance companies with questions about coverage
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills in order to provide the best comfort and care to patients
- Ability to assist with a varied workload
- Attention to detail
- Quick thinking and Problem-solving skills
- Multitasker a must.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Associate Degree in a medical field a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience working in a hospital or related healthcare environment
- Experience with medical billing/coding
