Job Description

Growing Pediatric Dental Practice is looking for an additional front desk team member. Specific Duties
  • Reception Management
  • Open and close dental office according to office protocol. Answer and respond to telephone calls with professionalism. Patient Management
  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors to the practice.
Check in and check out patients according to the office protocol, verifying and updating patient accounts. Reviewing treatment plans and following up with patients at check out. Confirm upcoming appointments Schedule patient for efficient use of doctor and staff time. Collect payment from patients at time of treatment. Schedule follow up appointments as directed. Records Management
  • Gather and accurately record dental and insurance information from patients.
Securely store and handle records in compliance with legal requirements, including HIPPA regulations. Manage and update patient information via electronic health record system.
DENTRIX DENTAL SOFTWARE.
Keep patients' insurance information up to date. Verifying and updating insurance for all new and existing patients. perform other tasks as assigned by the dentist or office manager.
PERSONNEL REQUIRMENTS
  • High school diploma 1-2 years' Dental office experience required. Working knowledge of computers for word processing, scheduling, and records management with Dentrix. Interpersonal
  • Good interpersonal skills to maintain effective rapport with patients, dentists, other staff and community.
Effective verbal skills to communicate with patients and staff. Must be reliable and able to work full time. Great attitude, team player, quick learner, and teachable are a MUST.
