Full-time, evening shift: 3pm-11:30pm. 5 days per week, working every other weekend. You will get additional shift differential for evening and weekends! Free parking onsite! Starbucks onsite! As a Patient Access Representative, you'll: Be responsible for satisfying the patient, staff or caller and maintaining the image and integrity of HCMC. Provide patients with information on physicians, directions to locations, required pre-testing, educational materials, and any other items prior to service. Gather necessary data, enter appropriate data into computer-Epic, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and appropriately signed by patient in order to register and admit patient for inpatient or outpatient services. What you'll bring: 2+ years of experience in medical office, hospital, medical call center or similar customer service environment EPIC experience highly preferred Knowledge of health insurance concepts preferred High school diploma or GED Passion for helping others Ability to think quickly and problem solve Ability to talk and type simultaneously, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must type at least 35 wpm.
Salary Range:
Minimum 17.37/hour - Maximum 28.68/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
