Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and organized Patient Services Representative to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support within our clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology and experience with medical billing systems, particularly EZDERM. You will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and compassionately. Duties Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes. Manage patient scheduling, including appointments, follow-ups, and cancellations. Maintain accurate patient records and files in accordance with clinic policies. Provide information to patients regarding services, procedures, and insurance coverage. Anwer high volume multi-line phone system Collaborate with healthcare providers and manager to ensure seamless patient care. Utilize EZDERM and other relevant systems for administrative tasks. Uphold confidentiality standards in all patient interactions. Experience Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication. Proficient in answering high volume multi-line phone system Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle patient inquiries professionally. Proficient in clerical duties including filing, data entry, and managing electronic health records. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
