Job Description

Company Overview Calvert Internal Medicine Group is a provider-owned multi-specialty group practice dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare through a patient-centered approach. Our team is committed to maintaining high standards and achieving outstanding patient satisfaction. In this role, you will: Process referral requests, prior authorizations, and DME orders. Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and healthcare partners. Collaborate with hospitals, infusion centers, and home health providers to coordinate patient care. Review and monitor open referrals to ensure timely completion. Support providers by handling patient messages, requests, and documentation. Train new staff in referral entry as needed. Maintain confidentiality and uphold organizational policies. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent (required). 2+ years of experience obtaining pre-certifications/authorizations with major insurance carriers in a medical office or healthcare facility (required). Strong knowledge of insurance verification systems and medical terminology. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
