Answer incoming phone calls promptly, providing accurate information and scheduling appointments efficiently. Collect and verify patient information, including personal details, insurance data, and medical history, ensuring all records are complete and up-to-date. Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation related to their visit or treatment. Coordinate appointment scheduling with clinical staff, managing calendars to optimize patient flow. Maintain organized patient records in compliance with privacy regulations and office policies. Support administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and data entry to streamline office operations. Communicate effectively with medical professionals, patients, and external providers to facilitate seamless care delivery. Handle patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy, addressing concerns or directing them to appropriate team members. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area to promote a welcoming environment. Experience Prior experience working in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology enhances communication with clinical staff and understanding of patient needs. Proven ability to provide excellent customer service in a healthcare environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple tasks efficiently. Experience supporting medical administrative functions such as appointment scheduling, insurance verification, or billing is advantageous.
