As the welcoming face of our pediatric practice, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for our patients, families, and staff. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced medical office environment . You should enjoy interacting with children and families, communicate effectively, and be able to balance multiple responsibilities while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in providing exceptional customer service and wants to be an important part of a team dedicated to caring for children and their families. Responsibilities Greet patients and families warmly and professionally upon arrival. Answer and manage a multi-line telephone system promptly and courteously. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments accurately. Check patients in and out and maintain accurate demographic and insurance information. Collect copayments, balances, and other patient payments as needed. Assist families with questions regarding appointments, forms, and general office procedures. Process incoming and outgoing calls, messages, mail, packages, and other correspondence. Maintain patient records and perform accurate data entry while protecting patient confidentiality. Assist with school, camp, sports, and other medical forms. Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area. Assist with office supplies, filing, scanning, faxing, and other administrative duties. Work cooperatively with medical assistants, nurses, providers, and the business office to support smooth daily operations. Follow all practice policies and procedures, including HIPAA and patient privacy requirements. Qualifications & Experience Previous front desk , receptionist , medical office , or customer service experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional, friendly, and compassionate manner when interacting with children and families. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy environment. Comfortable using computers, electronic medical records, Microsoft Office, email, and other office technology. Strong typing and data-entry skills. Professional telephone etiquette. skills are highly desirable. Experience with insurance verification, medical billing, or practice-management software is a plus. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 37.0 per weekBenefits:
