Description Lincoln Hospital Clerical/Administrative Support Req #: 91818 For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $3,000 sign on bonus for Patient Service Representatives (PSRs): Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time PSR position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Position Summary:
The Patient Service Representative (PSR) is the first point of contact for patients and visitors in the dermatology department. This role is essential for creating a welcoming environment, coordinating patient appointments, and providing administrative support to providers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner Schedule and confirm patient appointments Verify patient insurance and collect co-pays or payments as needed Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the electronic health record system Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and assist with patient navigation Support clinical staff with administrative tasks to ensure smooth workflow
Summary:
This position consists of 40 hours per week, day shifts. The Patient Service Representative (PSR) role will greet patients, answer telephones, schedule appointments, and perform other overall general office duties as assigned. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous office experience with medical office experience preferred.

The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package. The pay range for this position is $19.87 to $23.75 per hour.
