SUMMARY:
The Patient Services Representative will demonstrate consistent, quality service traits achieving positive patient experiences. The Patient Services Representative will provide compassionate, professional assistance to our patients throughout the check-in and check-out process as well as provide skilled services in conjunction with all departments to effectively and efficiently process changes to necessary items
I.QUALIFICATIONS A.
Excellent communication with Patients and Peers. B. Attention to Detail — Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks. C. Work directly with Ophthalmologists and Optometrists to ensure ease of patient flow and excellent patient care. D. Integrity — Job requires being honest and ethical. E. Dependability — Job requires being reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations. F. Cooperation — Job requires being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a good-natured, cooperative attitude. G. Leadership — Job requires a willingness to lead, take charge, and offer opinions and direction. H. High School Diploma
II. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS A.
Frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching outward, reaching above shoulder, squatting or kneeling, bending. Frequent lifting of 10 pounds or less, occasional lifting of 11-50 pounds. Frequent pushing or pulling of 12 pounds or less, occasional pushing or pulling of 13-100 pounds. B. Vision (Near, Distance, Color, Peripheral, Depth Perception) C. Sense of sound (normal range of hearing) D. Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) (gloves, face mask, eye shield, gown) E. An office environment with a controlled atmosphere. Possible exposure to staff or patients with communicable diseases and blood borne pathogens.
III. POSITION DUTIES A.
Assist patients with check-in and check-out process. B. Generate schedules for following day and prepare paperwork for patients to complete. C. Ensure patient paperwork is completed and signed. D. Accept payments from patients. E. Schedule appointments F. Assist other departments as needed. G. Order Contact Lens. H. Minor repairs on glasses. I. Other duties as assigned.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
