Job Description

Cousineau Chiropractic Center, PLLC, is looking to add a highly organized and detail-oriented member to our team. We are not your "typical" chiropractic office; we are a fast-paced walk-in facility that prides itself on delivering exceptional service and high-quality care to our patients. We operate in a friendly, professional, and comfortable environment, but we also rely heavily on our front desk to keep our clinical, financial, and operational systems running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Greeting patients and managing triage flow based on consultation room availability. Inputting demographic data and configuring insurance policies accurately within the E-Thomas EHR system. Performing real-time eligibility audits, verifying deductibles, and tracking insurance benefit limits. Calculating daily patient financial liability by aggregating insurance-allowed amounts and deductible obligations. Processing payments, explaining Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), and establishing structured payment or Financial Hardship plans. Managing patient billing statements and conducting proactive delinquency outreach calls. Scanning and digitizing patient IDs, insurance cards, and multi-media documents using GSImaging software. Executing daily facility opening and closing routines, including preparing the X-ray room, vacuuming, and wiping down adjusting tables. Completing weekly and monthly clinic maintenance tasks such as mopping, stocking supplies, and equipment cleaning.
Experience & Requirements:
Previous medical front desk, billing, or receptionist experience is strongly preferred. Familiarity with insurance verifications, co-pays, and deductibles is highly desirable. Strong mathematical and/or analytical skills. Excellent communication skills, with the professional confidence to handle difficult conversations regarding past-due accounts. Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain meticulous attention to detail. Willingness to assist with daily facility cleaning and operational tasks. This is an exciting opportunity for an organized, patient-oriented, and system-driven individual to join our team. If you have the necessary skills and experience, we encourage you to apply by submitting your resume.
