Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greet patients professionally.
  • Answer and direct phone calls.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments.
  • Check patients in and out.
  • Verify demographics and insurance.
  • Collect copays and balances.
  • Scan and file documents.
  • Process mail, faxes, and electronic communications.
  • Respond to patient questions and route clinical concerns.
  • Maintain a clean reception area.
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Work on daily checklist
  • Being CPR trained
  • Make calls to schedule patients to assist with quality measures Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical office experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • EMR experience preferred.
  • Computer proficiency.
