Job Description
Astera Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a passion to be part of the Inpatient Nursing (Med/Surg) team. Inpatient Nursing Assistants are primarily responsible for providing direct patient care on the Med/Surg floor in coalition with the Registered Nurses and Providers, and are considered vital in our workflow processes as they directly care for our patients. This position is for a PRN/casual status in the inpatient unit. Some responsibilities of the Inpatient Nursing Assistant include, but are not limited to the following: Observing and reporting patient data Performing patient care and assistance Ensuring applicable patient and family needs are met Taking patient records Maintaining patient care supplies Astera Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
