Join Our Team:
We are searching for a Patient Service Representative for our Fenton Family Medicine office located at 714 Gravois Road!
Opportunity:
Full-time opening Monday
  • Thursday, 8:00 a.m.
  • 5:00 p.m. Friday, 8:30 a.m.
  • 3:00 p.
m. No nights, weekends or holidays Outpatient clinical practice
Day-to-Day:
Answer incoming calls for the office Ask pertinent questions related to patient symptoms and relay this information to the provider Schedule appointments Handle faxes Who we are seeking ( preferred ) : The Patient Service Representative must project a positive and professional image over the phone, and in all interactions with patients and coworkers. The Patient Service Representative will possess the ability to multi-task and stay organized The Patient Service Representative will be driven by a strong desire to delivery quality customer service Formal training which will probably be indicated by a high school diploma or equivalent. 1 or more years of experience working with the public, preferably in a healthcare setting. Knowledge of medical terminology, Knowledge of the different types of health insurance plans; i.e. HMO's, PPO's, etc. PC/Windows proficiency. Willingness to assign high priority to patient comfort and satisfaction. Ability to communicate effectively and to work compatibly with physicians, coworkers, and employees in other departments.
