Job Description

As a Dental Patient Coordinator , do you have the support to provide the best patient experience possible OR, is something missing? We are a thriving private practice that values relationships. Due to growth, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Coordinator to join our team. As a Patient Coordinator , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office by providing administrative support and exceptional service to our patients. What you'll do as a
Patient Coordinator:
Schedule patients effectively and be responsible for maintaining a full, productive schedule that maximizes patient care. Scheduling optimization will be for active as well as inactive patients Check patients in and out ensuring a seamless and positive experience from arrival to departure Verify insurance benefits and provide clear explanations of coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and payment options Answer the phone promptly and professionally addressing patient requests in a helpful manner Present treatment plans to patients to help them understand the importance of their oral health Create a warm and inviting atmosphere for every patient by being friendly helpful at all times Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the office runs smoothly and every patient receives outstanding care What you'll bring: Dental knowledge and experience with dental terminology and treatment procedures preferred Proficiency with Dentrix practice management software strongly preferred Ability to present treatment plans with confidence and professionalism Excellent and positive communication skills with both the team and patients Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Self-starter that takes initiative when something needs to be completed Stable work history demonstrated on your resume

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
