Working in AFS means being part of a collaborative, mission-driven environment where clinicians can apply their skills in diverse ways, continue growing professionally, and see the lasting impact of their work every day What You'll Do Greet members, vendors, couriers, job applicants and other visitors in a consistent, professional and friendly manner adhering to proper security protocol and logging activity. Answer phone calls in a timely and welcoming manner and courteously directs the call to the appropriate personnel or program. Abide by all HIPPA laws and maintains confidentiality for all clients and medical records. Ensure the headquarters lobby is constantly staffed during agreed business hours and maintained in a neat and orderly fashion. Manage schedules accurately for new appointments, check ins, and follow ups. Verify insurance, personal information and account balances. Collects fees when required. Ensure that new charts are ready for use and packets are prepared for programs. Accurately enter information into the EMR (i.e.: financial information, assessment forms, billing, etc.).
