Job Description

Joining our Lake Regional Health System team means working alongside our knowledgeable, dedicated team of people who care for our patients and one another. Lake Regional Health System is seeking a professional, detail-orientated Patient Account Representative to join our ED Registration Department who can provide knowledge and customer service to our patients. What Are We Looking For? An individual who can promote customer satisfaction by providing courteous, confidential service through competent, professional practices and prompt response as outlined in the patient-focused care affirmation. Can perform receptionist duties and maintain customer service as the #1 priority. Registers patients in a confidential, accurate and timely manner at each appropriate point of entry. Communicates effectively with the patient to assist with access to care by: answering the telephone and other incoming communications in a timely and customer-service oriented manner; replying to inquiries, the patient's needs for information, and other parties clearly and in a timely manner; and, if information is not readily available, follow up with inquiries to responsible party. Performs other duties as assigned at department and organizational level. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required for this role. An annual influenza vaccination is required.
