Job Description
The Patient Services Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors. This role is responsible for providing professional customer service, managing patient registration and front desk workflows, verifying insurance eligibility, scheduling appointments, supporting patient check-in and check-out, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) System. The Patient Services Coordinator must demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, accuracy, cultural sensitivity, and strong communication skills in a high-volume healthcare environment. Good data entry or computer skills. Familiarity with ICD 10-CM and CPT codes is a plus. Skills in the use of computers and related software applications. Skills in interpersonal and customers service skills, verbal and written communication skills.
