Job Description
Position Summary Big Sky IV Care is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Intake Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and referral sources, helping ensure a smooth and efficient intake process while supporting coordination of care across our clinical and billing teams. Key Responsibilities Process new patient referrals and intake information accurately and efficiently Communicate with patients, providers, and referral sources in a professional and compassionate manner Verify insurance coverage and assist patients in understanding benefits and financial responsibilities Support prior authorization and reauthorization processes to ensure timely treatment Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within electronic medical systems Coordinate with clinical and billing teams to ensure patients are ready for scheduled services Monitor intake workflows and follow up on outstanding items to prevent delays in care Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare, medical office, patient intake, referral coordination, insurance verification, or related role. Familiarity with insurance verification, prior authorizations, or patient coordination is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable working with electronic medical records and standard office software Work Environment This is a full-time, onsite position in a professional office setting, Monday through Friday, 9-5.
