Admissions Position Summary As a key member of the Operations and Communications team in the undergraduate admissions office, this role plays a vital part in overseeing the development and implementation of features, functions and shared knowledge related to Slate, our customer relationship management (CRM) system. Responsibilities include query and report development, process automation, data integrity, database security, portal building and management, as well as form building. Strong candidates will be technologically proficient, detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a highly collaborative environment. Effective communications skills are also a must. Minimum Required Education and Experience Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university required. Preferred Education and Experience Experience with CRM/database systems is preferred, but not required. Job Duties Slate Coordinate undergraduate admissions instance in Slate (CRM) Build reports and queries; update as needed, at least annually Create import processes for prospective student data from external enrollment partners (i.e. Appily, College Board, Niche, etc.) Support prospective students/families with access to applicant portal (Acorn Account) and troubleshooting any other student-facing Slate functions Create and maintain prospective parent and school counselor portals Support prospective student engagement scoring model used in admissions committee review Conduct routine quality checks to ensure data integrity Coordinate implementation and/or execution of new CRM functionality annually Online Admission Applications Support annual updates of the first-year and transfer undergraduate applications (Common Application and Elon Application), along with others Assist with annual review and updates of third-party admissions applications and websites (examples: Nursing CAS / WebAdmit) Execute alternate interview scheduling for competitive scholarship interviews Office Technology and Euipment Oversee and maintain computer upgrades for Admissions (undergraduate and graduate) and Financial Aid staffs Provide technology training for new hires, as well as ongoing technical assistance and troubleshooting Maintain inventory of office equipment and collecting university-issued property upon departure of staff members Participate in Admissions events and campus visits, including weekend programming Other duties as assigned
