Memorial Health Care Systems is proud to be recognized as a Top 20 Critical Access Hospital for 2026, and we are currently seeking a full-time Hospital Admissions Coordinator. The Admissions Coordinator will work Monday - Friday with occasional assistance with evening, weekend and holiday shift coverage. This position is responsible for hospital patient registration, insurance verification, and using a multi-line switchboard. Candidates must have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. Previous experience preferred but not required.
SUMMARY:
Responsible for admitting inpatients, outpatients, special clinics, radiology, lab, and emergency room patients. Answers incoming calls and patient account questions. Updates patient census, filing, and directing patient flow. Batches charges, the activities of Inpatient, Outpatient and Emergency Room registration, cashiering, billing, and credit and collections.
