We are recruiting for a Full-Time Intake Coordinator to join our skilled team of pediatric professionals in Marlton, NJ. This position is benefit eligible.
POSITION SUMMARY
Acts as liaison between WCRH/Patient's Family/Insurance Company to coordinate care and reimbursement. Collects all necessary medical and insurance information. Performs various tasks associated with Outpatient registration, verifying benefits, obtaining authorizations, securing medical history from referring MD, processing patients upon admission and discharge. Accountable for the tracking and preparation of weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly statistical data and periodic reports for the Outpatient Program when required. Interacts with families of patients from infants, school age and/or adolescents up to and including age 20. Handle various clerical functions as assigned by the Office Manager or his/her representative. Thorough knowledge of facility policies and procedures as it relates to the above duties is required.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma Two years of clerical experience in a healthcare setting Ability to function independently or under supervision as task requires Articulate, tactful, and demonstrate the ability to deal with people in a pleasing manner both in person and in telephone communications Computer literate in Excel, MS Word, and Outlook. EMR experience Proficient in medical terminology and HIPAA regulations Well-versed in medical, benefits, plan structures, and eligibility Ability to communicate effectively, strong customer service skills.About Us:
