Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Office Specialist! In this vital role, you will be the cornerstone of efficient clinic operations, ensuring seamless patient experiences and accurate medical documentation. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help foster a welcoming environment while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Duties Manage patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow-up communications using our EMR (Electronic Medical Records) Epic. Accept patient co-pays Draw blood Assist patients at the front desk by providing exceptional customer service, answering phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, and managing check-in/check-out procedures. Experience Proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment with familiarity in medical administrative support roles. Hands-on experience with Epic. Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; typing speed of at least 10 key digits per minute is desirable. Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively serve diverse patient populations. Demonstrated understanding of HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies. Exceptional customer service skills with phone etiquette expertise and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy clinic environment. Pay:
