Job Description
Responsible for performing all billing functions for the appropriate party and applying payments to the appropriate accounts in a timely and accurate manner. Makes correcting to the appropriate system to ensure the account is billed correctly. Researches and resolves any issues related to billing. Requests and sends any additional information needed to process payments. Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent. Typing speed of 35-40 words per minute required, plus one year billing experience in the healthcare field. Work requires the ability to understand and respond to simple written or verbal instructions. Proficiency of Microsoft Office preferred.
