Medical Associates of Northern New Mexico is seeking an experienced, full-time Medical Receptionist. Our receptionists are the face of the company and have the opportunity to help people on their worst day. A detail-oriented, adaptable professional with prior office experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment making a difference. Responsibilities Welcome patients and visitors, ensure all patient paperwork is distributed accordingly and completed accurately Direct high-volume phone traffic, retrieve and document voicemails, and forward messages to appropriate departments Accurately schedule appointments and efficiently manage patient waitlists Collect copays and outstanding balances, answer basic billing inquiries, and reconcile daily cash, check, and credit card totals A successful candidate will have: Prior administrative or office experience required Strong computer skills Friendly, positive attitude Critical thinking and problem solving skills Attention to detail
