Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will manage the patient intake process, coordinate communication between patients and providers, and ensure a smooth flow of information within our healthcare facility. Duties Facilitate patient admissions by collecting accurate personal, insurance, and medical information through phone calls and electronic forms. Manage appointment scheduling using scheduling software, ensuring optimal flow and minimal wait times. Verify health insurance coverage, explain benefits, and assist with insurance third-party billing processes. Maintain electronic health records (EHR) with precise data entry and documentation of patient interactions. Communicate effectively with internal teams to coordinate patient care and follow-up appointments. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries promptly and professionally. Support revenue cycle management activities by assisting with billing, coding, and payment processing. Requirements Prior administrative experience within healthcare settings is highly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook Knowledge of managed care policies, health insurance procedures, and medical terminology Experience with electronic health records (EHR) management systems and data entry accuracy Strong phone communication skills combined with excellent writing abilities for clear documentation Ability to manage schedules efficiently while handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with revenue cycle management processes including billing, coding, and insurance claims processing Join us as an Admissions Coordinator to play a crucial role in delivering seamless healthcare experiences!
