We have an exciting opportunity for health care employees or entry level candidates looking to join our Front Office team as a Patient Service Associate. An ideal candidate must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, both independently and on a team. This is a full-time position (36 hours/week) structured as three, convenient, 12-hour shifts. This is an onsite position at our Guilderland location, with some reimbursable travel required.

Position Summary:

Assist all patients that report to the front desk Greet patients in a prompt, courteous and professional manner Interact with a diverse patient population Utilize the electronic medical record to maintain patient records via scanning or registration Attend appointments, collect copayments, and other necessary information at time of check-in Answer incoming phone calls and direct appropriately to team members Qualifications No experience required. Excellent customer service skills preferred Experience using an electronic health record and Microsoft Office a plus!
