Job Description

Every other weekend and holidays Job Description Facilitates the registration of Outpatient Physical Therapy Patients. Interviews patient and/or representatives to obtain identifying information and other data required for registration. Job Responsibility
  • 1.Receives in-coming telephone calls promptly and professionally.
  • 2.Maintains constant awareness of patient arrival.
  • 3.Monitors prescriptions for expiration.
  • 4.Accepts payment from patient as appropriate.
  • 5.Maintains the patient's privacy and abides to our regulatory agencies.
  • 6.Orders Lab and Rad tests in the appropriate systems.
  • 7.Ensures we have appropriate authorizations before patient has scheduled tests.
  • 8.Sends reports to appropriate physicians. 9.Performs related duties, as required.
  • ADA Essential Functions Job Qualification
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Previous registration or billing experience.
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations
  • System knowledge, including HIS, Insurance Eligibility, Micro Soft, Omni and HDX
  • Communication Skills
