Weekend coverage required to moniker referrals remotely Obtains and reviews necessary medical/financial information in order to facilitate admissions process and to ensure continuum of care. Reviews required admission documentation with appropriate responsible party as per regulatory guidelines. Responsible for accuracy of assigned work. Reports problems involving assignments to Admissions Director or Administrator. Assists the Admissions Director in developing and managing a marketing plan to maintain census at budgeted levels. Demonstrates knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and managed insurances. Assists the Admissions Director in compiling and reporting monthly admission and discharge data. Assists in reporting the daily census. Maintains communication with hospital Social Workers, Case Managers, and Physicians. Communicates admissions to nursing departments. Marketing in the community.
