Overview The Patient Rep-Phys Billing position for South Bay Cardio, you will be responsible for a variety of clerical duties to help facilitate the daily functions of the Physician Practice.

Job Details Requirements:

HS Diploma/GED Required Experience working in a medical practice is preferred Accurately register patient demographics to include insurance information, insurance verification, and email addresses for MyChart Ability to interpret third party coverage to patients Responsible for patient referrals and pre-certification/authorization for professional and hospital billing Communicate with other ancillary staff for proper insurance requirements EPIC deposit tool: reconcile daily copayments and complete weekly cash deposit Serve as a resource for staff including all aspects of billing Handle patient billing inquiries Collect patient copayments Charge Entry Support Front Desk with Checking Patients In/Out and Answering Phones as needed May be assigned additional duties as needed This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and position location.
