In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth administrative operations within our medical facility. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help create a welcoming environment for patients while efficiently managing appointment scheduling, patient records, and insurance processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on patient experiences and support the overall efficiency of our healthcare services. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures using patient management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems Answer incoming phone calls promptly, providing clear information and scheduling appointments with accuracy Verify patient insurance details, update medical records, and assist with health insurance inquiries in compliance with health regulation policies Maintain patient confidentiality at all times, adhering to HIPAA regulations and organizational standards Support medical administrative tasks such as data entry, appointment reminders, and documentation of patient interactions using Microsoft Office tools and EHR/EHR management systems Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure timely patient flow and accurate record keeping Assist in managing electronic health records (EHR), ensuring all information is current, accurate, and securely stored Qualifications Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare environment is highly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes Strong knowledge of health regulation policies, including HIPAA compliance and health insurance procedures Experience with patient management software and electronic health records (EHR/EHR management) systems Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person Familiarity with medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical notes and documentation Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting Basic typing skills for quick data entry and record updates Join us in delivering compassionate care while supporting the operational excellence of our healthcare facility.
