Medical Office Receptionist / Urology / Full Time / Days The Patient Services Specialist provides comprehensive administrative and clerical support to assigned department(s) by facilitating effective communication, maintaining accurate records, and supporting daily operations to ensure efficient service delivery and a positive experience for patients, staff, and providers. The Patient Services Specialist is an onsite position. Essential Functions Provide administrative and clerical support to assigned department(s) to support efficient and organized daily operations. Coordinate communication by answering phones, greeting patients and visitors, routing inquiries, and relaying messages accurately and timely. Prepare and maintain departmental documents, correspondence, records, files, and reports in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements. Accurately complete patient scheduling /registration in electronic health record to support timely, compliant patient care and billing processes. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling patient, employee, and departmental information at all times. Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety. Works hours per week in accordance with offer letter or per attributes of position at transfer request. May be expected to work longer hours as necessary. Other duties as assigned.
