Our Non-profit behavioral healthcare center is seeking a Client Service Representative to work in our North Summit office This employee will report to the Client Service Manager and function in a peer relationship with all other support staff. This position will be responsible for processing clients for admissions to Portage Path including insurance verification, financial aid interviews, and other duties. This position is also responsible for other reports related to updating client data, obtaining required client documentation, and serves as an admissions coordinator assisting our clinical intake team on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in a medical office setting working with patients and knowledge of various insurance plans and the process of verifying eligibility, or comparable education courses. The successful applicant will work on a number of tasks requiring in-depth evaluation and problem solving on a daily basis. Employee must be able to prioritize job duties and multi-task on a daily basis. A minimum of high school diploma required. Successful Candidate will be a motivated team player with excellent communication skills. A high degree of accuracy and confidentiality is required. Previous working knowledge of the mental health and Medicaid managed care field a plus. Portage Path Behavioral Health offers a competitive hourly wage & excellent benefits package.
