Job Description
Patient Services Specialist Location:
Hilliard, OH Pay:
$18.00/hour Work Environment Busy outpatient therapy office supporting patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and front desk operations. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and flexible to support multiple Hilliard-area office locations as needed. ScheduleMonday:
8:00 AM- 7:00 PM
Tuesday:
8:00 AM- 5:00 PM
Wednesday:
7:00 AM- 4:00 PM
Thursday:
9:00 AM- 5:00 PM
Friday:
7:00 AM- 3:00
PM Compensation and Benefits Pay Rate:

- Time Off / Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) About the Role The Patient Services Specialist serves as the first point of contact for patients and plays a key role in creating a positive experience.
- Greet patients warmly and professionally
- Guide new patients through registration paperwork
- Check patients in and out
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls
- Schedule appointments and conduct patient follow-up
- Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations
- Collect copays and process patient payments
- Maintain accurate patient demographic information
- Review daily charges and assist with office closeout procedures
- Utilize EMR systems to manage patient information Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1 year of medical front desk, general front desk, or customer service experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service both in person and over the phone
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer proficiency
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Flexibility to work at multiple office locations within the Hilliard area Top Skills
