Job Description
Job Summary - Greets and assists patients upon arrival. Completes pre-registration, onsite registration, and check-in for all appointments. Facilitates all necessary workflows for scheduled and unscheduled patients. Performs extensive clerical duties, including but not limited to the following: answers phones, schedules patients, reviews insurance information with patients, verifies health plan benefit coverage and eligibility, and calls to confirm appointments. Regulatory Requirements High School Graduate or equivalent. Previous experience in an office setting or registering patients, preferred. Knowledge of insurance and medical terminology, preferred. Language Skills Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills. Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and keyboarding. Strong attention to details and highly organized. Ability to multi-task and prioritize by level of importance. Excellent customer service skills. Professional appearance.
