This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who combines strong customer service abilities with experience handling insurance-related information in a clinical setting. The person in this role will help patients navigate registration, coverage verification, scheduling coordination, and travel-related arrangements while maintaining accurate records and clear communication with internal teams and external contacts.

Responsibilities:

Verify patient insurance coverage and confirm demographic and account details to support accurate billing and service coordination. Communicate with patients, payer representatives, and outside vendors to obtain, update, and clarify required information. Assist with patient registration activities and ensure records are complete, current, and properly documented. Coordinate appointments and support patient scheduling needs while responding to changes and special requests. Arrange transportation or other travel-related accommodations for patients when needed. Provide courteous front-line service by answering questions, resolving routine concerns, and directing issues appropriately. Maintain organized documentation using Microsoft Office tools and internal office processes. Work closely with the Revenue Cycle Manager and site leadership to support daily operational needs across assigned locations. Previous experience in patient services, patient registration, scheduling, or a related healthcare support role. Familiarity with insurance verification processes and the ability to work accurately with coverage information. Strong communication skills with a detail-oriented approach to patient, vendor, and team interactions. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications for documentation, coordination, and general administrative tasks. Ability to manage multiple priorities in an onsite, fast-paced healthcare environment. Customer service or call center experience with a focus on responsiveness and problem-solving. High level of organization, attention to detail, and reliability in handling sensitive information.
