Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Office Front Desk Receptionist, where you'll be the welcoming face and organizational hub of our medical practice. This vital role combines exceptional patient service with efficient administrative support, ensuring smooth daily operations. You'll handle patient interactions and schedule patient appointments with precision and professionalism. Your energetic approach will help create a positive experience for every patient while maintaining strict adherence to clinical confidentiality policies and health information management standards. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, answer phone calls with professional etiquette, and schedule appointments efficiently using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as RSL and Epic Verify patient demographic and insurance details and process copays and payments on account balances in compliance with HIPAA regulations and health insurance policies like Medicare Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while handling appointment scheduling, patient inquiries, and follow-up calls with professionalism and care Support clinic staff by performing clerical duties such as data entry, scanning documents to the patient's EMR, and faxing paperwork as needed Route refill requests and patient messages to the physicians accurately Handle medical records requests for patients and insurance company chart reviews Experience Prior experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is required; clinic experience or dental clinic experience is highly preferred Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic is preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies Demonstrated clerical experience supporting front desk operations in a healthcare environment; office experience involving filing, typing, and computer skills is essential Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering exceptional patient care through efficient office management. Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour
