Youngstown Orthopaedic Associates | Boardman, OH Youngstown Orthopaedic Associates is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Patient Registration Associate to join our team at our Boardman location. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced front desk professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient service. Position Summary The Patient Registration Associate serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a positive and professional experience while supporting efficient office operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy medical setting. Responsibilities Greet and check in patients in a friendly and professional manner Register patients and verify demographic and insurance information Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling inquiries Collect and process required documentation and payments Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with office procedures Communicate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and patients Provide exceptional customer service while managing multiple priorities Qualifications Previous front desk or patient registration experience preferred Prior customer service experience required Experience in a medical office environment preferred Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus Strong computer, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting This is a full-time position with rotating shifts that will include evening and Saturday hours.
The rotating shifts are:
Monday through
Friday:
6:30 AM to 3:00 PM Tuesday through
Friday:
10:00 AM to 7:00
PM and Saturday:
