15 per hour, depending on experience Position Summary The Imaging Scheduling Representative schedules and pre-registers patients for services as requested. This position is responsible for obtaining current demographic, insurance, and other information required by third-party payers and works collaboratively with referrals, authorizations, and financial screening teams to ensure all necessary pre-authorizations have been secured, non-emergent procedures have been financially cleared, and patients are apprised of their financial obligations before the date of service. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist all internal and external customers, promptly demonstrating professionalism, patience, compassion, and consideration in interactions, consistently striving to know and meet or exceed the anticipated needs. Performs scheduling functions for assigned service lines and reschedules procedures as necessary; coordinates STAT scheduling directly with technologists and physicians. Demonstrates the ability to work independently and as a team while practicing the Asante values to build a highly effective team. Position Qualifications Experience Healthcare-related insurance, scheduling, front desk, or comparable experience is required. Education High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience demonstrating the ability to effectively communicate as required for the position is required An Associate Degree in business or healthcare related field is preferred
Certification/Licensure CHAA:
