About Us We are a client-centered therapy practice committed to providing compassionate, high-quality mental health care. We are seeking a reliable, organized, and personable Part-Time Intake Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for prospective and current clients. Position Summary The Intake Coordinator plays a key role in supporting clients through the onboarding and scheduling process. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and care. Responsibilities Available to work 20 hours per week, 1-5pm Monday through Friday Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries from prospective clients Conduct intake screenings and gather client information Schedule appointments and manage therapist calendars Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations when needed Maintain accurate client records in the electronic health record (EHR) system Coordinate communication between clients and clinicians Support office operations and administrative tasks as needed Ensure HIPAA compliance and confidentiality standards are maintained Qualifications Previous administrative, medical office, or intake coordination experience preferred Experience in behavioral health or healthcare settings is a plus Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent verbal and written communication Ability to work independently and collaboratively Comfortable using scheduling systems, EHRs, and office software Compassionate, professional, and client-focused demeanor Part-Time Benefits Eligible part-time employees receive: Worker's Compensation coverage Paid Leave Oregon (12-14 weeks family, medical, or safe leave) 401(k) with up to 4% employer match after 12 months Paid Sick Leave (accrual of 1 hour per 30 hours worked) PTO of 2 weeks, usable for vacation or holidays Gusto Wallet access for early pay access prior to payday if needed Why Join Our Team?
